Cheerleading Formal!

It was held at Bridie Manor, which is just a restaurant in Oswego that host banquets and other events. Paul was my date and it was definitely the best formal I've been to so far! We ate pizza and wings, sang karaoke, and got awards. I recieved the "Curly Q" award for being the one to always curl everyone's hair before competitions, parties, and formal! I think I got that from my Mom. : )

The City!

Looking up the Statue of Liberty's skirt!
This was the view from the inside.
The stairs were so skinny you could barely fit your foot on each step.

Our view from the Ferry.
What do you do when you're bored on the Subway?
Play dress up!
Does it look like us?

It ended up taking us over 10 hours to drive there. Our GPS had us driving down to Missouri, up to Michigan and then back to New York. We just thought it was taking us a different route until we were 6 hours in and nowhere close to the city. When we finally got there we shopped a bit and then hung out with some of Paul's friends who went to school there. We ate at this Vegan fast-food restaurant they raved about and then went to see the Statue of Liberty the next day! It was a really great time.

One year later!

So we have a new team with 4 guys! Two of the guys used to play football in highschool, one still plays hockey on the side, and one guy used to cheer in highschool. It's super wierd, but everyone loves having the strength they bring to try really hard stunts. We just competed in Utica but lost. It was really dissapointing. Besides that, we're competing in Myrtle Beach on the 2oth. Hopefully we'll do better!
